"Son of Who?" By - Yusuf Estes

What exactly does 'son of God' mean?

Can true salvation from God, be the punishment of someone else who is innocent from any of these crimes, to be punished as though he were guilty?

Does God need someone to suffer severe punishment, even though they are trying, day after day.

Did Jesus, peace be upon him, tell the people to take him as a god, or to worship him?

Let us find the answer to these and other important questions about the nature of Jesus of Christianity and Islam.

"Look to the Books"

To begin, let us do a sample comparison of the teachings of the Holy Books of Almighty God.

QURAN OF ISLAM

Surah 39:53 “Say: ‘Oh my servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins, for he is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful’.”

Also: Surah 4:110
“If anyone does evil or wrongs his own soul but afterwards seeks Allah’s forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Surah 2:21
“O you people! Adore your Guardian lord, who created you and those who came before you that you may become righteous.”

Surah 58:22
“You will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written faith in their hearts and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to well therein (forever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.”

New Testament of BIBLE

Mark 6:10
“Why do you call me good?” answered Jesus, “No-one is good but God alone!”

Matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but rather to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until Heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of the pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until all things are accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever keeps the commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the Will of the Father who is in Heaven. Many will say to me on the day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”

Some leaders claimed, “This probably refers to the Mormons or somebody else. Don’t worry about it.”

Mark 1:35
Gabriel says Jesus will be “called the son of God” and he would be “given the Throne of David” to “rule the House of Jacob forever.”

Luke 3:36
“Enos was the son of Seth, and Seth was the son of Adam, and Adam was the son of God.”

Note: Adam, not Jesus, is listed in this genealogy of Jesus as the son of God, not Jesus.

Later on, the priests are asking Jesus, peace be upon him, if he claims to be the son of God. He tells them in fact, it is they who are making this claim.

“You say that I am.”

Gospel of John contains the greatest number of references to “son of God.”
Jesus, speaking in the third person talked about the “Son of God” in John 3:17

John 5:24
John 11:4
John 11:27

Martha, one of the followers, calls Jesus, peace be upon him, “The Messiah, the Son of God”
John 20:31 he is called “The Messiah, the Son of God.”

But no verse makes the exact statement “Jesus is the Son of God and as such he is divine or God.”

Issa/ Jesus Son of Mary The Messenger

" Oh, you People of the Book! Commit not excesses in your religion, nor say of Allah anything but the truth. The Messiah, `Essa, the son of Maryam is no more than a Messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed upon Maryam, and a Spirit proceeding from Him: So believe in Allah and His Messengers. Say not "Three"-desist: It will be better for you: For Allah is one God, glory be to Him [Far exalted is He] above having a son. To him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs" (Qur'an 4:171)

The Quran is reminding the christians that God has and will always be one and not three or a trinity. God of Moses peace be with him and the commandments.
It also reminds all the readers that God ( Allah ) is the disposer of all affairs and that Issa/Jesus son of mary was Allah's messenger and the promised messiah sent to the Jews.

Islam denounces Terrorism

All the terrorist activities across the world that are attempted to be equated with Islam, including the recent slaughter on a military base in America, are the products of the Darwinist, Leninist, Stalinist and Marxist mindset. Those who perpetrate such massacres have absolutely nothing to do with Islam. These people have received a Darwinist and Marxist education in Europe or America and are rooted in Leninism and Stalinism. Since conflict represents the basis of the philosophy in which someone with a Marxist, Leninist and Darwinist mindset believes, since they regard the people killed as mere animals and also believe that these need to be eliminated according to natural selection, it is perfectly normal for those with such a mindset to carry out such massacres.

Those who seek to ascribe such massacres to Islam are the heretical masonic groupings that wish to cause divisions between Muslims and Christians in particular and seek to weaken the truly devout and give rise to oppression, conflict and war across the globe. Freemasons, representatives of the systems of the antichrist (dajjal), seek to totally misrepresent Islam, a religion of peace and love, and thus ensure that people hold prejudiced views of it. The fact is, however, that unjustified killing is a sin in Islam. Our Lord makes this absolutely clear in the Qur’an:

So We decreed for the tribe of Israel that if someone kills another person – unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the Earth – it is as if he had murdered all mankind. And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind. Our messengers came to them with clear signs but even after that many of them committed outrages in the Earth. (Surat Al-Ma’ida, 32)

Those who do not call on any other deity together with Allah and do not kill anyone Allah has made inviolate, except with the right to do so, and do not fornicate; anyone who does that will receive an evil punishment. (Surat al-Furqan, 68)

Allah reveals that it is as sinful to kill one person as to kill all mankind. There is no question of someone who maintains the bounds set by Allah of harming a single person, let alone slaughtering thousands of innocent individuals.

In addition, under Islam nobody can arbitrarily distinguish between those who do “right” or “wrong.” Because this distinction is clearly set out by way of the Qur’an. As revealed in the Qur’an, there can be no aggression in Islam, only self-defense. A Muslim can only resist aggression for purposes of defense, in the event of a threat to himself or those around him. According to Islam, only under such circumstances do people have a “right to attack” the other side, and then for purely defensive purposes. But if the other side ceases its aggression, then they must also put a stop to their defensive actions. Allah makes this a definitive pronouncement in the Qur’an:

“Fight in the Way of Allah against those who fight you, but do not go beyond the limits. Allah does not love those who go beyond the limits.

Jesus: Divine Son of God or Great Prophet of Allah? Debate.

Is Jesus God?

Did Jesus ever claim to be God?

Does the Bible teach that Jesus is God?

What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet?

Representing the Muslim perspective was Sami Zaatari: Sami has written hundreds of articles defending Islam

He runs the website www.muslim-responses.com

He is currently studying literature in London and is working on a book on Jesus' crucifixion.

Representing the Christian side was Dr. James White: Dr. James is the director of Alpha and Omega Ministries, a Christian apologetics organization based in Phoenix , Arizona .

He is a professor, having taught Greek, Systematic Theology, and various topics in the field of apologetics.

He is also a critical consultant for the Lockman Foundation's New American Standard Bible.

He has authored or contributed to more than twenty books, including The King James Only Controversy, The Forgotten Trinity, The Potter's Freedom, and The God Who Justifies.

The Topic of Debate: Is Jesus: Divine Son of God or Great Prophet of Allah?

Sami Zaatari (www.Youtube.com/SamiZaatari)

vs.

Dr. James White ( www.Aomin.org )

Issa/Jesus son of mary ( peace be with them ) are loved very much in the islamic teachings. All of life is loved and protected under the Islamic principals. Both speakers gave a good presentation and the answer still remains unanswered by the Christians. Why issa/jesus never claimed the divinity given to him ?

The Trinity is not the way Issa/Jesus (peace be with him ) taught.

The trinity is a major defect among the faithful and Paul's vision has indeed changed Christianity. So many division exist because of it, Why though ? The bible confirms that God is one, the Torah confirms that God is one and the Quran confirms of this as well.

Why do many Christians follow the vision of Paul, when Jesus himself said he was not sent to break the commandments, but to fulfill. He said your father and my father and that God is one. The teachings of Issa/Jesus himself were indeed inline with the early Judaic commandments as we all know that Issa/Jesus was indeed a Jew.

This is an Important reminder to all my christian brothers and sisters that Issa/Jesus himself prayed to God when he walked among us, like every other prophet, messenger, apostle before him and he never commanded the people to worship him or that he is God in the flesh.

This is an important to understand why the Quran was sent and I would like to discuss about the prophecy of Mohammad from jesus himself. When Jesus said blessed is He that commeth in the name of the lord. The lord being one and is

The Quran confirms that Issa/ Jesus ( son of Mary ) is the promised messiah sent to the children of Israel and he was given miracles and signs for the people. Two signs given to him were unlike other prophets. The miraculous birth with no father as the Quran addresses this saying all is easy for Allah ( Thee One God ), all is said is BE. The second miracles to note is his ability to speak as an infant. He spoke as an infant to protect his mother from the accusations and shame that her people would accuse her of. He spoke to them from the cradle and told them that he was the messiah, sent to them from God.

This should indeed help us realize the importance of the prophet Mohammad ( peace be with him ) and the final revelation in The Quran.

The Quran correct much of the misunderstandings in regards to the role of Issa/Jesus and reminds all the faithful that he was another messenger from the One eternal, forever living God.

The Quran described Issa/Jesus as

The Messiah sent to the Jews. The Word of Allah

The Spirit of Allah

The Son of Mary

Now can Christians disagree with these descriptions? for certain all the early ( prior to paul's vision ) Christians will agree 100% with the Quran's teachings.

The Quran addresses the trinity in the following verse

41: 171 O People of the Book! commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an Apostle of Allah and His Word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His Apostles. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is One Allah: glory be to him: (for Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

What about in regards to the early Jewish roots ?

The Quran addresses the commandment given to Moses ( peace be with him )

17:2 We gave Moses the book and made it a guide to the Children of Israel ( commanding ):" Take not other then me as disposer of affairs."

What does the bible and the Torah have to say about this ?

The first commandment - Thou shall have no god but me. ( one God )

The Quran is directly in line with the early scriptures in regards to the singularity of God.

The Arabic word Allah is translated as thee One God, a name by definition. A name that explains it self. One God, no others.

The Islamic Shihada ( testimony ) is There is no god but Thee One God and Mohammad is Thee One God's prophet.

Two very important reminders that God is One and That Mohammad is only another prophet, like all the prophets that came before him.

Peace be with you all and Insha'Allah ( God willing ) we can learn to understand the importance of accepting the singularity of God, because there is no others.

4:131 To Allah ( thee One God) belongs all things in the heavens and on earth. Verily we have directed the people of the book before you and you ( Muslims) to fear Allah ( thee One God). But if ye deny him, lo! Unto Allah ( thee One God) belong all things in the heavens and on earth and Allah is free of all wants, worthy of all praise.

Things you should know about Islam

Islam cannot be associated with a certain type of people. Muslims today are over a billion and a half world wide. They live on every continent and almost every corner in the world. So what is it about Islam that attracted so many people from across the world and why does it continue to grow ?

What people need to understand about Islam is that it can be a very simple faith to follow. The Shihada (deceleration of faith) is to declare there is no god but the one God (Allah) and Mohammad is Allah's prophet. When a person declares this out loud with sincere and pure intentions in their hearts, they become Muslims. That's all it takes. As many writers in the past have said " How can anyone compete with such a religion, when at the end of the declaration, YOU ARE AN INSTANT BROTHER". No matter where you come from, how rich, how poor, how smart. The Muslim body is supposed to view things as a whole society and not be built on personal achievements.

The base of the teachings of Islam encourage constant charity for those able to do so, don't build wealth for yourself in this life. The true wealth is in the hereafter. Strive in the way of good and Allah will reward you for all your deeds and no reward is greater then the reward from Allah, even if the reward was the size of the sun. That big is such a small reward compared to the rewards Allah has prepared for the believers.

Islam attracted so many of the poor and oppressed. Those who felt weak and isolated, had a renowned vision of strength and steadfast against those oppressing them. Now they truly realized that their oppression is not cause because of themselves, but the actions of those around them. Almost all of the first Muslims to walk with Mohammad, peace be with him, were among the poorest.

At the time in Mecca, Pagan idols were being worshiped and the adulterers came from all sides of the areas. It is said that the Kaba was filled with over 300 plus statues of man made statues. These statues were not only views as gods by the Meccans, but more so as a way to cheat many of those traveling and those seeking spiritual help or guidance. It was big business for them and they were very rich from it.

Mohammad's vision was unlike anything they wanted to hear. Destroy all the statues and worship the one true (unseen) God over all that exists. All people have equal rights , no one is better then another except by their actions and piety. Giving all human beings equal rights in front of God.

For example :

Just because you are poor, does not mean Allah's reward will be any less for you.

Just because you are from a different race, does not mean Allah's rewards will be any less for you.

Just because you are from a non Arab country, does not mean Allah's rewards will be any less for you.

Just because you are rich, does not mean Allah's reward's will be any less for you.

Another important factor is the tremendous attention to charity and how the rewards will increase in folds to those who take part or donate the most charity. Charity is money as well as endless things like a smile.

Women's rights is another misunderstanding about Islam, for what the west today is coming to accept as woman's right, these same laws were already given to women 1400 years before that in the Quran.

Did anyone know that a marriage must be written in contract and the wife to be must agree to it? Let's say a husband didn't fulfill an obligation in the contract, she has every right to divorce him .

Are you astonished? You should be, because this existed that many years ago. Don't act surprised about the culture takeover in many of the Arabic countries, for whenever you see an oppressed woman who is Muslims then know it's not because of Islam.

What Mohammad peace be with him left humanity is a way to be directly connected with God all the time. That is what people must understand about Islam and Mohammad peace be with him.

I suggest more people study Islam and learn as much as you can.

Peace be with you all.

My Journey to Islam - Abu Emaan

Bismillah,

As salaam aliekum wa rahmatullah, to all the Muslims and peace to all the non Muslims.

I like to begin by saying that this is an abridged version of my journey to Islam and there are many things I would have liked to have said, but didn't due to wanting to keep it as brief as possible. However, here are some of those points that I missed out.

1.I actually saw the effects of magic taking place.
2.I witnessed what magicians do and who they associate with.
3.How we broke the magic of the spell.
4.How they use the jinn to entice the person to come to the other.
5.The guidance of Allah from taking me away from the worst of people and placing me with the best of people.
6.How Allah opens up your sight to see things that you had never seen before.
7.The number of people who actually visit magicians.
8.The trials and tribulations that one face after accepting Islam.

I hope that you will all get benefit from this story and you will learn from it as well. Please remember that magic cannot effect a person except by the will of Allah, and Allah has not left us without protection and an antidote.

Do not think that you have to go and visit some shaikh to help remove the effects of magic and beware of those who are con man. They prey on the weak in the ummah using fear and made up stories in order to get them to relinquish their wealth.

The protection against all evils is with Allah. Seek refuge in Allah from all evils, read the Quran, follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) and you will pass through this life easily inshallah.

May Allah accept all your good deeds and remove from you all your bad deeds, may he protect and shade you on a day when there will be protection or shade and may you enter paradise in peace.

As salaam alikeum wa rahmatullah

Prophet Muhammad's Name Found in Sacred Scrolls-Shair haShirim one of the Five Megilot-Which is part of the Hebrew bible.

The Arabic Language is known as as Semitic language and there are many words incommon with the Hebrew language. The over rated conflict which many want to miss-lead the world to believe as if the Jewish and Muslim people are sworn enemies till death. This lie has been fabricated long enough, the past hundred or so years have indeed destroyed much of the great relations between the Muslims and Jews who lived side by side for 1300 plus years previously.

Lets look at this video which will display many things to all.

It will prove the commons in both languages
Very delicate words like prophets, holy books, God and many others will be covered

We are looking into the actual name of God in the Hebrew book.

Many of the none obeying Christians, who wish to profit from misleading their own people. The name "Muhammad" has been discovered in the Bible in the original Hebrew language.

In the 5th chapter of the Shir haShirim ( שיר השירים ), which is one of the five megilot or Sacred Scrolls that are part of the Hebrew Bible or for short the "Song of Solomon" (also called "Song of Songs"). That chapter is giving a prophecy about an individual to come, a mystery man.

There cannot be denying the Great Prophecy of Mohammad the messenger sent to the Arabs and all the faithful. Awaited and was indeed sent, for God never goes back on his promises.

Open your mind and ears and listen to the words. IT CANNOT BE ANY MORE CLEARER.

Mohammad - The Praise worthy. Look into the life of this great messenger of Allah.
